If you’re not sure how to clean beer lines and what to use to clean beer lines, be sure to read our quick guide here. In general, it’s a simple process that most people without serious DIY skills can handle at home.

A typical beer line cleaning procedure includes the following steps:

  1. Shut off the regulator on the CO2 tank and disconnect the tank from the kegerator
  2. Disconnect the beer line from the keg and put its end into a bucket
  3. Remove the faucet using a faucet wrench
  4. Mix the beer line cleaning solution with warm water in the beer line cleaning bottle that comes with any cleaning kit
  5. Connect the cleaning bottle with a hand pump to the faucet
  6. Run the cleaning solution through the system a few times using the hand pump
  7. Empty the bucket, fill up the bottle with clean water and repeat the procedure a few times to rinse the solution off the system
  8. Put everything back together

That’s it! Your home dispensing system is ready for the party.
